Itinerary
Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Chau Doc
Meals included : LunchAt 07:30 get picked up at your local hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to depart for My Tho. Take a leisurely boat ride through the Bao Dinh Natural Canal, bordered by traditional stilt houses and fruit plantations. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market before heading to Tortoise Island. For lunch, eat in the heart of the orchard gardens before continuing the boat ride through the Tan Thach Natural Canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees.
Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, then trek through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son Island. Enjoy a rowboat ride through the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorboat. Proceed to Chau Doc and check-in on arrival. Visit the Sam Mountain and the caved pagoda before seeing the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian border. Relax at a selected restaurant of your choice before turning in for the evening at your local hotel.
Day 2 : Chau Doc – Long Xuyen – Can Tho
Meals included : Breakfast, LunchAfter breakfast at the hotel, take a morning boat ride to the floating fish farm and the Cham Weaving Village. Check-in on arrival at a local hotel in Cantho then enjoy an evening at a local restaurant of your choice before turning in for the night.
Day 3: Phong Dien – Cai Rang
Meals included : Breakfast, LunchAfter breakfast, take a morning boat trip to the liveliest morning floating market, Phong Dien. Keep cruising through the small channel systems, stopping off at a rice noodle-making village to see the art of making Pho's most important ingredient. Learn how to cross the single bamboo "Monkey Bridge" in the delta before seeing a second floating market, Cai Rang.
Break for lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City via Vinh Long to tour a local snake market. Finish the trip after being dropped off in the evening at around 17:00.
