Description - Mekong delta 1 day tour
At 7:30: Pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and depart for Cai Be by car. Stop to take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque rice fields. Upon arrival to Cai Be, set off by motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and spend some time watching the local people trade fruit and other commodities. Walk from the floating market further into the smaller villages, stopping to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.
Keep cruising to An Binh Island through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Arrive in An Binh village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Enjoy a lunch of fresh river food served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. After lunch, Take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in Vinh Long, and travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. We will arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 18:00.
